This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever had happen to me.

As you know, last Sunday was my blog’s 1st birthday. Well my friend, the wondrous Julia Dean-Richards, decided to help me celebrate, so she baked me a cake. However, since she lives in Shropshire, and I live in Essex, it had to be a virtual cake. That’s quite a concept in and of itself.

Julia being Julia made me this virtual cake in a poem she dedicated to me. Follow the link below. It’s typical of some of the lighter poetry she writes, but it’s also highly personal from my point of view.
