This dismal, damp Monday morning finds me somewhat less lighthearted than I normally am.

You may be aware of my recent successes publishing my fiction on Readwave. It’s been quite a slog, but I’d accumulated 47,000 reads in about two years. Five of my last six offerings went over 1,000, and ‘Charlie loses her temper’ went past 2,600.

Now it’s all gone hideously wrong. The people who ran the site have got bored, moved onto pastures new, and left me and the other thousands of authors in a literary limbo.

That seems a pretty shoddy way to treat people who have supported the site since the outset (eg me) and helped make it such a success story (me and everybody else.)

All in all I’m not a very happy bunny today.
