It’s often said there is nothing worse than a bad loser. I’m determined not to be one.
I’ve had a bloody good run on the Prompted challenges on TipsyLit, winning 14 out of the last 15. This week I got soundly trounced by this
It’s a controversial subject, sensitively handled, with a degree of understated loathing that is very very well carried off.
I like this. Congratulations to Dawn. The best one won.

It was indeed a great week, some very strong contenders, and a proper slugfest up the top. Nice to see so many people reading, commenting, and voting.

She did do a good job and I liked how she interpreted the prompt. Wow, I didn’t realize you had won 14 of 15! I feel much better that I lost to you a couple of weeks ago. 🙂

I need to pull out some stops on the next one. My reputation is at stake now.

Yes, that was definitely a powerful piece. Good for you for congratulating your opponent in this battle 🙂

Best won. Simple. I have to be gracious when it was such a great bit of work. I’d have been miffed if it had been some saccharin anodyne bit of fluff about how mother’s love conquers all, but this was very powerful, very controversial, and rather well done.

Hey, you won fair and square. But I’m gonna try to kick your arse next week.

Deal. I will return that favor. 😉
